Title: Meeting on DANCES from ASIA MINOR
Description: Since ancient times, the island of LESVOS has always strong ties with its close neighbour ASIA MINOR, both on a geographic and cultural levels. From 1915 to 1923, Lesvos was also the destination for a considerable number of refugees fleeing the Greek Great Catastrophe. This seminar is to explore and share this cultural heritage as it expresses itself in dance and music.
