0ur Music is Directly linked with African Roots.
We use authentic African Drums such as Sogo, Djembe, kidi, kagau, Brekete, Gonje, We also add Atenteben (African flute), African xylophones and Raffles during performances. This gives out a sophisticated and nice African Rhythm.

KETE Folk Music and Dance Company Ltd, is one of the leading folk music and Dance group in Africa(Ghana).
The name KETE is a rich royal dance performed by the Ashanti’s in Ghana. The group is made up of talented and professional Drummers, Dancers and Folk Musicians.
In Ghana, we are affiliated to the Ghana Dance Association, The National Youth Council and The National Commission on Culture.
The group has over the years organized a lot of workshops on African Dance and Music for students from Germany, Holland, United States and England and has performed in a lot of festivals both locally and internationally.
The group is a role model for most of the upcoming folk dance groups in Africa due to our wealth of experience.
Our members have well crafted bodies for the art and African Dance. We are made up of 5 Dancers, 5 Drummers,Totaling 10 artiste. The group has a good blend of males and females; this makes performance vibrant and very equal.
Our members are truely professionals.
Our performances are always vibrant, energetic, complicated and accompanied with complex authentic African Drums and Dance. This leaves the audience without a choice to dance and party with us.
Our group performs dances from Ghana, Benin, Togo, Guinea, Mali and South Africa. We have over fifty African dances in our repertoire. Some of the Ghanaian dances we perform are Kete, Adowa, Bayama, Kpanlogo, and Atsiagbekor. Guinean Dances example: Wali and Zulu from South Africa.
