Children Folklore Ensemble
THE *LIOARA* FOLKLORE DANCE GROUP
The group has been re-founded in November 2004, under the wing of the Romanian Youth Foundation Bihor and is actively present and training at the Youth Centre in Oradea.
The folklore dance group led by the grand master in folk dance Mircea Daraban wishes to develop this dance art initiating and promoting young talents for the safe keeping of the Romanian folk traditions and customs.
On Europe`s Day the folklore dance group has participated in the festival organized by the Lucian Blaga Highshool in the Magnolia Park in Oradea.
After 7 months from it’s re-founding the children folklore dance group intitled “LIOARA” has participated between the 3rd and 10th of Jun,2005 in the folklore dance festival ,in Pau , France. Together with the team of 16 dancers there have participated also 5 instrumentalists.
In Oradea , the group has participated to the opening of the *TOAMNA ORADEANA* event and in the folklore show for children on the occasion of the city`s anniversary- 12th of Otober.
The group attended the popular clothing, music and dance specific to the Crisul Repede valley Festival , which took place in Auseu in February 2007
The "Flowers of Bihor" folklore organisation from The Oradea children's palace attended the festival in july 2006
In 24 january 2006, the day in which the romanian countries united, at Lotus Market...
In may 4, the hungarian and romanian managers meeting (hungarian and romanian dance colage)
In 16 – 23.06.2007 , the group has participated to the "Fifth International Youth Folklore Festival Primorsko'2007" Bulgaria.
In 27 - 29.06.2008 the "Lioara" Ansamble has participated to the "8th International Folklore Avalanche,International Folklore Festival
