I am a
computer engineer and a self-educated
musician from
North Cyprus. I now work as a teacher.
I am the founding moderator of
World_Folklore E-mail Group, which is a bridge among folklore community of the world since 2002.
I have been playing
violin, accordion, and darbuka for several
folk dance groups in Cyprus
since 1987, and I have participated
more than 45 international folk dance festivals in more than 15 countries.
In 2006, ARC Music from United Kingdom published our live performance (
which was recorded @ Drummondville Festival in Canada in July 2005) as a CD, named "
Music of Northern Cyprus".
Since 2007, I am a member of
IOV.
